Oh tonight
I miss you
Oh tonight
I wish you
could be here with me
but I won’t see you
’til you’ve made it back again

Home and dry
Home and dry

There’s a plane at JFK
to fly you back from far away
all those dark and frantic
transatlantic miles

Oh tonight
I miss you
Oh tonight
I wish you
could be here with me
but I won’t see you
’til you’ve made it back again

Home and dry
Home and dry

Far away
through night and day
you fly long haul
Come to me
you know I’ll be here

Oh tonight
I miss you
Oh tonight
I wish you
could be here with me
but I won’t see you
’til you’ve made it back again

Home and dry
Home and dry

Quote of the day:
"Never trust a computer you can't throw out of the window" (unknown, '98)

The very meaning of our lives. ;p
hello.

this really is some kind of strange situation. I picked up the idea of switching on my good old 386DX computer (for the non-geeks: my very old workstation) and writing something down. Well, in fact, not something ... more like anything I'm thinking of or thought of today, and all days before. Wasn't that the basic target of starting this weblog ... I don't really believe anybody reads this, because most things are quite much written so I can remember them, but other people, who don't have the whole picture, just read a bunch of crap. What is exactly the point of this, you might ask yourself. Well, it keeps me busy. I really like writing this log ... not as a personal logbook of joy and pain, but, like I said in the intro on my site, as a ventilation shaft for everyday life. To start, I will try to say something about what may be the most sensitive topic in conversations worldwide: Love. It's a damn big word, and every human being will search for it or get in contact with it in his life ... But I don't really get all the ... fuzz ... about it. When I walk through streets and take a quick look at people, some people really are into "hypes" and things like that... Really, they can do what they want, and I will not reject people from doing this, but the question that drives me is ... why ? Do you really, really like the way you are acting right now ... you're acting ... forced, in a way, but maybe it's the other way around ... maybe I'm ... Maybe people all over the world shouldn't poke in every human corner looking for differences among people ... If we just trust in the way every human does what he thinks is best for him AND (not to forget)for other people in his direct and indirect social environment. Don't misunderstand me, tho ... To get back to the love thing, in fact ... I really think people should be honest. All the fuzz around it ... some things I hear from other people or read somewhere do have a certain meaning, but usually this very meaning is twisted and spinned. Sometimes it just gets too complicated. I really don't understand why we're doing this, but I must admit, in a way ... I did it too, and I'll probably keep on complicating those things for the rest of my life... why ? Because it's such a big experience, perhaps. Well, I know I feel sorry about some things I've done, and I (used) to think a lot about them. It's just such a funny\frustrating fact that my and other people's world today (not only in the love aspect, but quite much in that, tho) could look a lot different (I'm not talking about better\worse) due to decisions I made in the last few months\years. Not just decisions between 2 or more possibilities, but also "small" (in fact, I'm just trying to explain nothing really is small , everything we do has an impact in the nearby future or later ...) things, like reactions on people's words\feelings ... Well, the question is, if you are in a negative situation today, were you able to change it before ? Of course you could, but you didn't know the consequences of your decision before. That is the important part in my story. If we would know what kind of impact our decisions would have, would we have anything like "life" ? Sure, we would have control. Limited control. You would know what effect your decision would have, but not how much that effect depended on your decision. Because multiple decisions lead to your "effect". And thats life, and that's why it's unpredictable ... look at it like an object being catapultated ... the first years other people make decisions for you, because you're too small to decide.(read': the catapultated object has too much speed). Then the years where you have to decide for yourself ... sometimes you make te wrong decisions and sooner or later you will get hit by things ... things positive\negative for your course. in 99.9 procent of the cases, it will not stop you, but it will have effect on the rest of your journey through time\air.

This is just a snapshot on how I think about those things right now, because the way I think about things and the way other people think about them constantly changes, due to ourselves and due to external factors.

Quote of the day:
"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers... Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit crushing game shows, stuffing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose future. Choose life... But why do I want to do a thing like that ? I chose not the choose life. I chose something else." (Ewan McGregor as Mark Renton, Trainspotting '96)

Quote of the day:
"Nobody is perfect. To prove that, I am the perfect example." (unknown)

Expanding the timetravelling theory:
Again, I had this conversation with a friend about the timetravelling theory (see sat 05 july)
We concluded that everything I said made sense, BUT that before we could use this theory, mankind has to get a different view on time. In fact, he believed everything that happens, happened and will happen, is in fact already happening. At this very moment, you are doing things you will do in 5 minutes. That's why some things seem predictable ...

You haven't heard the last of this yet ... :D

lo guys.
Erh, this is my first weblog session and I really don't know what to say. I think this is an opportunity to thank all people for reading this. I really hope I can make something out of my weblog.

Today I had this funny conversation with somebody about travelling thru time. (4th dimension.)
We concluded that if you travel back in time, you really have to be right at the spot where you decided to travel back in time, otherwise there will be 2 instances of you and that would be an anachronism, and something terrible would happen. (read: spontaneous explosion, very smashing, tho.)
If you travel forward in time, YOU have to wait for your other "me" and catch up with it at the moment you jumped out of your 4th dimensional time-hole. Otherwise, again, you will just appear in time, and again, there will be 2 instances of you. Very dangerous.

So, if you read this carefully, we can't travel back in time before we found a way to live forever. Because, if you die during or after your time-trip, no one will be able to catch up with your other "me", and terrible things will happen.

So, I'd like to thank this person for this wonderful conversation and the loony way we had it. I really appreciate such moments, tho.

Greetz and be careful timetravellin'
